Motor problems in autistic people may be grossly underestimated

At least one in three autistic children has significant movement difficulties, according to a study of more than 2,000 children. And yet only about 1 percent of autistic children have a diagnosed movement condition. The study, the largest of its type, suggests that movement difficulties in autistic people are being systematically overlooked.
